Oh jeez, to be a fly on the wall for this conversation.

Cllr. Robert Currie (goes by Bob) is a member of the town council and a cheerful mechanic who owns the town's auto repair shop, Bob's Garage. He is a recurring character on Schitt's Creek.

Character Description

Proprietor of Bob's Garage and a member of the town council who often talks about his handsome wife (later ex-wife), Gwen.

Overview

In the first few seasons, Bob torments Johnny almost as much as Roland does. However, whenever Johnny does ask for help, Bob loves nothing more than to assist with a great big smile on his face, even if his help always ends up frustrating Johnny's plans even further.

There's nothing Bob enjoys more than sharing a magazine, or the latest Rose misadventure with his handsome wife, Gwen, whom Bob initially believes he's happily married to; And while they are indeed a united front early on, they get an acrimonious separation in season six: Gwen leaves him for their minister (she’s into “bad boys” now) and eventually takes Bob’s home too, promptly kicking him out.

Bob attempts to navigate single life following his split with Gwen and stays with Roland and Jocelyn at their house and even a brief stint at Ronnie’s. He later gets taken out to the bar with Johnny, Roland, and Ronnie to meet women, however, he doesn’t find much luck.

On David's wedding day, Bob offers his auto shop for parking — on the one condition that a space remain clear "in case Gwen comes back;" Even with Bob being clearly separated from his wife, he still holds out hope that Gwen will return to him.
