The Currie and Budd families are two closely related families who reside in Schitt's Creek.
Connections[]
The two families are interrelated through the marriage of Carl Currie and the unnamed mother of Sean; he is the first cousin of Stevie Budd, making his mother her maternal aunt. By the time of Carl's death, he had already divorced Sean's mother, making him the ex-stepfather to Sean, and an ex-uncle to Stevie.
Carl's brother, Bob is the owner of Bob's Garage, an auto shop established in 1943. Bob is married to Gwen, who is the aunt to Eric.
Sean is married to Bree, and the two have one son, Denim. Sean's cousin, Stevie Budd is the co-owner of the Rosebud Motel (formerly the Schitt's Creek Motel), having taken over management after her great-aunt Maureen Budd passed away in February of 2016.
