Don and Bev Taylor are old, wealthy friends of Johnny and Moira Rose.
Overview[]
They run into Johnny and Moira at the Elmdale Inn, a restaurant in Elmdale just after dropping their daughter, Mackenzie, off at college. At dinner, they tell the Roses that after deciding to take the scenic route home, they drove through Schitt's Creek, rudely referring to it as "Schittstown" and "Schittsville". And they continue to bash the town in front of Roland and Jocelyn, not knowing that the former is the mayor.
After many distasteful jokes, Don and Bev are corrected on the name of the town by an incensed Johnny, who states that it is where he and Moira have been living and confronts the couple for leaving them behind after he and Moira had lost everything, noting that they didn’t provide the Roses with a nickel, let alone a phone call for support.
