The Rose Apothecary Open Mic Night was held at the Rose Apothecary and hosted by the store's owners' David Rose and Patrick Brewer.
The open mic was suggested by Patrick as a means to boost the store's business and popularity; He thought an open mic would bring some people into their establishment. Hosted by Patrick, he would begin the open mic by performing Simply The Best by Tina Turner, a song he dedicates to David.
