The premiere for The Crows Have Eyes III: The Crowening took place in July of 2018 and was held at the Town Hall of Schitt's Creek.

As film star, Moira Rose's daughter and publicist, Alexis Rose believes she has a good way to promote The Crows Have Eyes III: The Crowening in light of the fact that it will be airing on Interflix: to hold a premiere for the film in Schitt's Creek, the event to be an immersive experience for attendees. It will not only promote the film and Moira, but also bring some exposure to the town which may be a selling point for council members like Roland Schitt and Ronnie Lee to provide some free goods and services.
During the actual premiere, however, the "immersive experience" (releasing actual crows into the sky) goes awry, a video of the incident goes viral online. Fortunately, the video is publicized by Alexis as being portrayed as one genius orchestrated publicity stunt and gave the film a positive boost, making people flock to Interflix to view it.
