— Moira to Johnny regarding the new Presidential suite in the new motel[src] |
"The Presidential Suite" is the eighth episode in the sixth season of Schitt's Creek. It is the seventy-fourth episode overall.
Plot Summary[]
The second Rosebud Motel is almost ready to open, the gang just having to put some muscle into deep cleaning the rooms. In what Johnny wants to rename the Presidential Suite, the largest and most luxurious unit in the complex, Roland wants to personally christen it with Jocelyn by staying the night, to which Johnny convinces them not to treat the asset like it's their personal property. However, Moira has much the same idea for herself and Johnny - she really wanting to move into the suite - Johnny eventually giving in to staying the night under the guise of proverbially at least sampling the merchandise before they are able to sell it. Meanwhile, David convinces Patrick to go to the spa for a spray tan to match their complexions before they have their formal wedding announcement photos taken, both items to which Patrick reluctantly agrees. David may also regret it after the fact. And Alexis receives a surprise visit from Ted, who has managed a weekend break, giving them one day before he needs to head back to the Galapagos. Ted's trip home isn't without purpose, his news which results in the two of them needing to make a difficult decision concerning their future.
