"The Rollout" is the eleventh episode in the fourth season of Schitt's Creek. It is the fiftieth episode overall.
Plot Summary[]
The rollout of the Rosebud Motel's marketing plan for its re-branding hits one snag when the specialized personal care products, such as moisturizer, that Johnny ordered through David's store is delayed solely because of the latter's tardiness. The rollout may hit another snag when it seems that the moisturizer is causing an allergic reaction as witnessed by the rash up and down Stevie's arm and on the side of David's face. Another problem is that a new batch of that rash-spreading product which David sells at the store is already half sold, meaning that lawsuits may abound by customers against the store. Meanwhile, Alexis is working side by side with Ted on setting up a rescue puppy adoption event for the upcoming singles week. However, being next to Ted is making Alexis lose focus, her focus which may be blurrier by the return of a now single Mutt. And Moira and Jocelyn have both been summoned for potential jury duty in Elmdale. Jocelyn relishes the opportunity to be on a jury while Moira has no interest in being on a jury whatsoever, that is until she learns the nature of the case. Moira has to figure out a way not to perjure herself in trying to get on the jury, for which if she is truthful, she would be uneligible.
